Moving From WP-Script, KVS or MechBunny to AdultEmbed Studio

October 27, 2026

The hardest part of switching tube software is your existing catalogue: thousands of posts with views, ratings, thumbnails and URLs that search engines already know. AdultEmbed Studio's "Move to Studio" tool is built so you keep all of it.

From WP-Script: adopted in place

If your site already runs on WordPress with WP-Script, Studio doesn't import anything again. It adopts your existing posts where they are:

  • It reads the source and video ID from the embed codes WP-Script stored, in both its current and older formats.
  • It keeps each video's length, views, rating and thumbnails.
  • Post URLs don't change, so your rankings and backlinks stay where they are.
  • WP-Script's own fields are left untouched. If you change your mind, switch the old plugins back on and nothing is lost.

Once adopted, the posts get everything Studio offers: the player with failover, the dead-video check, ad campaigns and thumbnail tests.

From KVS, MechBunny or any other script: CSV import

Export your videos from your current script as a CSV file and upload it to Studio:

  • Columns are matched automatically (title, embed code or URL, thumbnail, length, tags, performers) and you can correct any match before starting.
  • The import runs in the background in batches, so a 100,000-row file doesn't time out.
  • Run it again with an updated file and it updates existing videos instead of creating duplicates.

A safety check on everything you bring in

Old catalogues often contain titles nobody has looked at in years. Every adopted or imported video passes Studio's safety filter, which flags titles and tags that suggest minors or non-consensual content. Flagged videos are held for your review instead of being published.

A sensible order

  1. Make a full backup of the site and database.
  2. Install Studio next to your current plugins and run "Move to Studio".
  3. Review anything the safety filter flagged.
  4. Check a few video pages, then switch off the old plugins.
  5. Pick a Studio theme, or keep your current one: Studio fills the fields most adult themes read.

What you stop paying for

Studio is free and needs no licence keys, so there are no per-domain keys to renew, no yearly fees and no update server that can lock you out. Moving the site to a new domain or server is just a normal WordPress move.
