Compliance Built In: Age Verification, Takedowns and Legal Pages in AdultEmbed Studio

Laws for adult sites have changed fast: age verification in a growing list of US states and countries, 48-hour removal deadlines for non-consensual images, and payment processors asking for proof that uploads are consensual. AdultEmbed Studio puts the tools for this in the plugin itself, so you aren't stitching together separate services.

Age verification only where it's needed

• Choose where it applies by country and by US state. Visitors elsewhere just see the normal age notice.
• Choose the service: AgeVerif, Go.cam or VerifyMy. Each offers privacy-friendly methods, and with VerifyMy your keys stay on the server and never reach the browser.
• Until a visitor is verified, thumbnails and players are blurred and don't respond.
• Or block instead: one switch shows a blocking page in chosen regions rather than offering verification.
• Test it yourself: an admin-only preview shows the site as a visitor from any country or state would see it.

A passed check is remembered until it expires, so returning visitors aren't asked again on every page.

Report this video

Every video gets a report button for broken videos, copyright problems and illegal content.

• Non-consensual intimate images get their own form with a visible 48-hour deadline, shown in hours.
• Reports of non-consensual or underage content hide the video at once and email you, before anyone has reviewed them.
• A "broken" report starts an immediate re-check of the source.
• One review screen lets you remove a video together with any identical copies, keep it, or close the report.

A consent gate for uploads

If you let members upload, Studio records their consent statement on the server: who, when, which version, and a hashed IP. Video file uploads need the uploader's ID and release forms, stored privately and downloadable only by editors. Uploaded files stay private until you publish them, and everything submitted to paywalled sections is always reviewed first.

A safety filter on titles

Imported titles, tags and performer names pass a filter that holds anything suggesting minors or non-consent for your review. The same filter keeps such terms out of the live cams block.

Starter legal pages

Studio creates drafts of Terms, Privacy, DMCA, a 2257 statement for embed sites, an NCII policy, a Cookies page and an FAQ. They are filled in with your site's name and contact address and mention only the features you actually use. They stay drafts until you've read and published them, Studio never overwrites your edits, and once published they're linked from the footer of Studio's themes.

The basics, too

An age notice with your logo and colours, a cookie notice and an ad-block message are all included and configurable.
